Quran Discussion : Hajj

Q: I would share information about the huge caused because of religion in Indo,

1.hajj institutioned by the ministry/department of religion. So if a person want to go hajj, they shall register under appointed bank and to ministry of religion. And the ministry of religion indicted as the most corrupted state institution in Indonesia. People waited >15year just to get listed for hajj.

2.Then, if a person/organization want to collect and distribute zakat (alms), they shall fulfilled Amil zakat statutory under stipulation of the ministry of religion and national amil board. If a person/organization unable to fulfill the statutory, they can be convicted into prison because collecting zakat illegally.

A:

I’ve been rejected from going to hajj for the past 20 years because I’m not part of any masjid nor have I ever been.

This problem exists with all nations.

They control the masses.

I tried going on other months but still no luck. Sunnis do not recognise my faith as Muslim so I don’t think I’ll ever be allowed.

I should say hajj is not just one month.

Cramming millions of people into five days is completely wrong.

Ramadan is the beginning of the 4 consecutive sacred months for hajj

Currently the Islamic calendar departed these months but in the Quran they are always mentioned together, consecutively

In 9:2 it mentions the polytheist will have freedom to move about in the land for four months.

Later in 9:36 it mentions that there are four blessed months. That could only mean the four blessed months of Allah are consecutive and are not scattered like Hadithers have taught the world (Four months is also mentioned in 2.226 and 2.234 and no four months in the Quran are separated but all together).

The four sacred months begins with Ramadan and the following 3 months.

9:5-6 But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, an seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practise regular charity, then open the way for them: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. If one amongst the Pagans ask thee for asylum, grant it to him, so that he may hear the word of Allah. and then escort him to where he can be secure. That is because they are men without knowledge

4 months are mentioned always consecutively with no space in between

9.36 we are told 4 months are sacred. In the same Surah in 9.2 we are told go about in the land for 4 months (no break)

Four months is also mentioned in 2.226 and 2.234. No four months in the Quran are separated but together.

Also Allah has allowed Hajj for 4 months, but their over reliance on tradition and ignorance of Quran have reached them in this condition to disregards the following months.

I’ll show some more evidence

2:197

“For Hajj are the months (Arabic: Ashurun – plural) well known.

Quran clearly used the term “Ashurun” Which means months three or more ,

2:197

For the Hajj (Arabic Al-Hajjuh) Months (Arabic: Ashurun – PLURAL) well known (Ma’lumatun).

If the Arabic word was ‘Shahrun’ – This would have referred to one month

If the Arabic word was ‘Sharain’ – This would have referred to two months

The word in Arabic which has been used is ‘Ashurun’ which means months, in this case, three or more.

More evidence

Quran says there are four months which are sacred

9:36

“Lo! the number of the months with God is twelve months by God’s ordinance in the day that He created the heavens and the earth. Four (Arabic: Arba’atun) of them are sacred: that is the right religion.

Also Quran further gives us hint that these four months are in succession

This is the paraphrased 9:2-5 for better understanding.

So Paraphrasing 9:2-5 it says

“So go about in the land for four months (9:2)…. And an announcement from God and His Messenger, to the people (assembled) on the day of the Great Pilgrimage (9:3)… So when the sacred months have passed away (9:5)”

so we know from the above versus that, the four sacred months are in succession.
